came back from JCPBF 09~sat in VIP thanks to yiangshan.. hahaha.. she and her connections ah..
sat behind the Polish ambassador to Singapore and his family..
beside the polish drum major/conductor's family.. his daughter is O_O!

okok.. first of.. cannot tahan the first band sia.. Arnold band..
i'm going WTF and yiangshan was going OMG beside me.. hahaha
horrible terrible vegetable..
den second band.. Jacob band.. better..
but the last piece they played ah.. sounded seriously similar to one of the songs we hear every CNY!!! and that piece was from a POLISH composer!! WTF?!

hahaha.. i almost burst into laughter when she told me in the middle of the piece.. i didnt realise sia!.. maybe i was dozing off.. hmm.. haha
soo... interval.. toilet break.. den me and ys comtemplated abt going to the convenience store to get something to eat.. we both didnt eat for the whole day.. wahaha.. and it was 6pm le.. didnt go for it.. no time..
Honour band!!.. Wakakusa hill i hear before in kimseng.. so.. ya la.. haha.. it was good.. quite clean..

english dances set 2.. quite draggy.. dun like.. hee..
den sousa march!.. sesqui-centennial exposition.. hard to hate a sousa march bah.. haha.. they did good too la.. the dynamics are nice..
next is the Polish band!.. too many pieces la.. hahaa..
so.. postcard from singapore.. now i get what they mean when they say ethnic ppl play their own songs better than outsiders.. polish ppl play singapore tunes like.. can feel that they dun get the song ah..
